A coach works mainly within local GNAS clubs, teaching beginners and coaching established archers. Is re-assessed by the county organisation and re-registered every three years.

The Coach:
    * Teaches beginners archery.
   * Advises on suitable equipment
   * Sets up and tunes equipment
   * Is a fitting representative of GNAS
   * Has demonstrated a satisfactory knowledge of Units 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 7 of the GNAS Coaching Manual to the Society's Examiners
